High Frequency Machine Welding Technology Used in Eyeglass Frames

In the glasses industry, high-frequency machine welding technology has rapidly emerged in recent years, bringing a revolutionary breakthrough to the production of eyeglass frames. This advanced welding process not only improves production efficiency, but also enhances the quality and reliability of the eyeglass frame.

High frequency machine welding is a non-contact welding method that uses welding wire (usually 40% -70% silver content) and auxiliary flux to melt in the weld seam of the workpiece to complete the joint of two welded workpieces, with a welding temperature of 560-900 ℃. It is not limited by the geometric shape of the welded parts, and has the advantages of not damaging or crushing the welded parts. At the same time, its welds are beautiful, firm, and reliable.

Scope of application: METAL eyewear frames made of various copper alloys and stainless steel materials.

    Maintenance methods for high-frequency machines:

① Every six months, engineers and welding supervisors open the top and front covers of the equipment, discharge residual charges on the high-voltage components to the ground, and remove internal dust and water to prevent the high-voltage transformer from getting damp.

② Check whether the ground wire and fan operate normally during use.

③ Change the cooling water frequently and check its water volume during use. If the water volume is low, it indicates that there is scale in the water pipe, and the water pipe needs to be pickled.

④ Every 1-2 months, the engineer and welding supervisor inspect the machine head. If there are any water droplets, accumulated water, or moisture, they should be removed in a timely manner to avoid causing high-voltage arc to burn the capacitor.

⑤ If there is copper rust on the connection between the sensing head and the machine head, it should be polished with sandpaper to ensure good contact.

⑥ When the sensing head is wound, its sensing coil has a diameter of 5-8 mm and a length of 130-155 mm. It should not be too long, otherwise it will affect its power.

    Precautions:

① When winding the sensing head, the turns should be separated from each other to avoid short circuits and burning other components.

② When winding the sensing head, there should be no flattening or dead corners to prevent the cooling water from flowing and burning the sensing ring.

③ It is strictly prohibited to place the workpiece tightly against the two poles of the induction ring during operation to avoid causing sparks, burning through the induction ring and other parts.

④ If the temperature is found to be too high during operation, rest should be paused and work can continue when the temperature is appropriate. Alternatively, two machines can be used alternately to extend the service life of the equipment.

⑤ If a fire or abnormal noise is found inside the machine head, it should be promptly reported to the welding supervisor or engineer for handling.

The high-frequency machine welding technology has brought revolutionary breakthroughs to the production of eyeglass frames. Its efficient and precise welding method not only improves production efficiency, but also improves the quality and reliability of the eyeglass frame. With the continuous development and application of this technology, we believe that the glasses industry will usher in a brighter future.
